Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother Too starts by showing a kangaroo hopping through the grasslands with a joey in its pouch. Next, this Eric Carle children's book asks if a lion has a mother too? In this story book it shows a lion with its cubs playing and climbing on its back. The book read aloud follows with the question of whether a giraffe has a mother too? We see a giraffe with its small baby next to it and birds flying overhead. Next in this book reading for kids, it asked if a penguin also has a mother; we see a penguin waddling on the ice with snow falling around it and its little chick standing next to it to stay warm. The children's book read aloud confirms that these animals all have a mother too. But then the book asks, does a swan have a mother too? As we turn the page and read along in this book, we see a swan swimming in the water with all its little cygnets surrounding it showing that they also have a mother. In this reading for kids, we see on the following pages a fox, dolphin, sheep, bear, elephant and even a monkey on the last page.
