KINGDOM INVESTMENT 1

19 “DO NOT lay up for yourselves TREASURES ON EARTH, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
20 BUT lay up for yourselves TREASURES IN HEAVEN, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21 FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO."

• Kingdom Investment is the foundation for all other investments.

• In Jesus' teaching, He emphasizes that Believers' treasures should not be laid on earth. That our treasures should be stored in heaven (Matthew 6:19,20).
• The truth is, earthly investments have little or no Value; If God and His Kingdom are not the reasons for them.
• We live in an uncertain world, where security of things could not be guaranteed.
• If all your treasures are here on earth, they may be exposed and be eaten up by moths, or get rusted, or thieves and robbers break in to steal them (Matthew 6:19,20).
• Jesus was not against investments per SE, but He wanted Believers to know that their hearts, or Hope, should not be put in whatever they acquired on earth. THEY should set their minds on heavenly things:
  1 SINCE you have been raised to new life with Christ, SET YOUR SIGHTS ON THE REALITIES OF HEAVEN, where Christ sits in the place of honour at God’s right hand. 2 THINK ABOUT THE THINGS OF HEAVEN, NOT THE THINGS OF EARTH" (Colossians 3:1,2 (NLT).
• When you lay your treasures in heaven, there are two benefits as to them: (i) you would be compensated, rewarded or given interests on earth, And (ii) in heaven there is a reward awaiting you when you get there.
• Investment in God's Kingdom on earth guarantees a success in the works of your hands.
• Some have invested in Businesses, but after some Time, they could not see their investments and the rewards they expected from THEM. They had nothing to show for their labours!
• What you Invested in God's Kingdom will preserve your earthly Investment.
• If you will succeed as a Believer, on earth, you must pay attention to Kingdom investment.
• Your Investment in God's Kingdom releases the Blessings of heaven on your earthly Investment:
  9 HONOUR THE LORD WITH YOUR POSSESSIONS, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 SO YOUR BARNS WILL BE FILLED WITH PLENTY, AND YOUR VATS WILL OVERFLOW WITH NEW WINE" (Proverbs 3:9,10 NKJV).

10 I AM the LORD All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. BRING THE ENTIRE TEN PERCENT INTO THE STOREHOUSE, so there will be food in my house. THEN I WILL OPEN THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN AND FLOOD YOU WITH BLESSING AFTER BLESSING.
11 I WILL ALSO STOP LOCUSTS FROM DESTROYING YOUR CROPS AND KEEPING your vineyards from PRODUCING.
12 EVERYONE OF EVERY NATION WILL TALK ABOUT HOW I HAVE BLESSED YOU AND ABOUT YOUR WONDERFUL LAND. I, the Lord All-Powerful, have spoken!"
Malachi 3:10-12 (Contemporary English Version)

• Your Investment in the Kingdom releases favour on your life, your work, and whatever you do (Malachi 3:12; Deuteronomy 28:8,11; Luke 6:38).
• Kingdom Investment brings deliverance and protection on your life, home, and whatever belongs to you (Malachi 3:12; Deuteronomy 28:7).
• Kingdom Investment also gives you speed in life, and makes you great (Deuteronomy 28:12,13).

• Kingdom Investment.
I. Tithings

• This is the ten percent of your income, and it was a command from God:
  "I AM THE LORD ALL-POWERFUL, AND I challenge you to put me to the test. BRING THE ENTIRE TEN PERCENT INTO THE STOREHOUSE, so there will be food in my house. THEN I WILL OPEN THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN AND FLOOD YOU WITH BLESSING AFTER BLESSING" (Malachi 3:10).
• You pay your Tithes to the spiritual family house. There are different tribes in Israel, and the smaller units of each tribe are the families.
• An Israelites who has no tribe and family, has no inheritance in Israel.
• There are different tribes and families in the body of Christ, yet, it is still one Body (1 Corinthians 12:12,13).
• You as an individual Believer had to know your tribe and your family in the overall Body of Christ.
  YOUR spiritual family is where God has planted you as a Believer to be rooted and flourish.
• Every tribe, family, has an emphasis. Their Cores, their Messages, which God has given them.
  ONE of the Cores of the family unit you belong would be the emphasis, the message which your pastor or prophet emphasizes a lot.

II. Offerings
(i) Missions: It is about reaching out to the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

• Under it:
  a. There are those who are sent to reach out to the unreached—the unbelievers in the remotest places of the world:
  20 MY [Paul's] ambition has always been to preach the Good News WHERE THE NAME OF CHRIST HAS NEVER BEEN HEARD, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else. 21 I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE PLAN SPOKEN OF IN THE SCRIPTURES [Isaiah 52:15], where it says, “THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD ABOUT HIM WILL SEE, AND THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM WILL UNDERSTAND" (Romans 15:20,21 NLT).
  b. And also there are other ones sent to reach out and strengthen, or water, the Believers in different places; in different parts of the world, where they had little or no opportunity to the knowledge of His Word.
• Their work is to water the Believers in different parts of the world:
  6 I [Paul] PLANTED the seed, AND Apollos WATERED IT. But God is the One who made it grow. 7 So the one who PLANTS is not important, and the one who WATERS is not important. Only GOD, who makes things GROW, is IMPORTANT. 8 THE ONE WHO PLANTS AND THE ONE WHO WATERS HAVE THE SAME PURPOSE, AND EACH WILL BE REWARDED FOR HIS OWN WORK" (1 Corinthians 3:6-8 New Century Version).

5 DEAR friend, you are being faithful to God when you care for THE TRAVELING TEACHERS who pass through, even though they are strangers to you.
6 THEY have told the church here of your loving friendship. Please continue providing for such TEACHERS in a manner that pleases God.
7 FOR THEY ARE TRAVELING FOR THE LORD, and they accept nothing from people who are not believers.
8 So we ourselves should support them so that we can be their PARTNERS as they TEACH THE TRUTH."
3 John 5-8 (NLT)

• When you are blessed by God, part of your income should be for MISSIONS.
• If you do not participate in the mission work, you are not a friend of God.
• If you are mindful of how God's Kingdom on earth would increase, He also would see to your increase.
• Be part of the mission to the world, by giving your money to it.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• If you are having any ailment in your body As you read this piece, I release healing power of God on your life now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• Hold of sickness and infirmity is broken now in Jesus' name.
