  • The Central Powers conclude a peace treaty with Romania, which goes down in history as the "Peace of Bucharest". Romania, occupied since 1916 by the Central Powers, receives Bessarabia, all other disputed areas are divided under the German Reich, Austria-Hungary and Bulgaria.
