Hands is the theme this week for @txatxy’s #kolegas contest.
My Hand Checking the Blueberries
Wild blueberries grow in the front yard. There is enough of a harvest to make muffins, jam, pies and freeze some to use all winter.

Hubby picked the blueberries. I was also productive and creative- made a blueberry pie with them.

That is so cool to have them in your yard. I have never seen wild blueberries before. We have to go to our local orchards to pick them every year. That is always a favorite time for me. We use them all year round.
It’s great not to have to go far to pick the blueberries. the wild ones are smaller than the cultivated ones at the grocer.
Here how they look in our yard: The blue ones can be picked and then the bush picked again when the green ones turn blue.
