Kombucha is brewing!

So in an earlier post, I explained that I had received a kombucha scoby to allow me to brew my own kombucha. I absolutely love kombucha so this is the first time I will have made my own.

We're now 10 days into the fermentation process and I had a quick taste - it tastes amazing although I would like a bit of fizz to it.

I plan to bottle it tomorrow and to leave it sealed at room temperature to build up some fizz. Then I'll refrigerate ready for drinking. V exciting.

Also, can you see that I have what looks to be a new scoby forming on the top layer. I'm new to this so could be wrong!

Let me know in the comments what's missing in my initial analysis of my kombucha fermenting process so far....?

I think sometimes you can get 2 scobys, anyway I am not sure. watch some youtube videos. kombucha is very good and very healthy .
