Minnowsupport @samstonehill I went to discord and signed up, which for me wasn't easy as I am computer illiterate.
The funny thing about it is I didn't know or understand just what it is the discord and minnowsupport was. Now I have somewhat of a idea what they are doing.
When you first sign up for steemit you don't have any followers and no one even knows who you are. Thus you write a post and only get 3/4 people who look at your post and you are lucky to get that many upvotes. As far as I know there isn't a way to tell if you have been resteemed? If there is sure wish someone would enlighten me? For a long while I didn't even get very many comments. Needles to say the situation can be very discouraging.
That is where discord comes into play. It is a bot program that has people giving advice about steemit. It is a virtual world where one con meet other steemians and learn about the different ways designed into steemit to get people started. There are easy contest to win SBD and other types of Crypto. Minnowsupport is a way of increasing artificially the amount of money a minnow receives on a post. Giving the minnow real or shall we say financial support.
I am greatfull for minnowsupport and discord for this help and support I am way more interested in the videos that will help me increase the value of my own sweat equity. That is "I hope" @samstonehill comes in.
