이곳이 아닌 어딘가로 떠나고 싶었던 건... 김영하 작가 말대로 이곳에 머물 때 받았던 상처로부터 벗어나고 싶었기 때문일지도 모른다.
여기가 아닌 어딘가... 지금이 아닌 언젠가...
벗어나 있는 동안은 자유로워지는 기분이였다. 말도 통하지 않는 곳에서 벌어진 상황에 집중하느라 여태껏 고민하던 일이 머리속을 비집고 들어올 틈이 없었다. 온전히 내게만 집중한다는 건 이곳을 떠나지 않고는 안되는 것일까.
도피와 다름 없는 떠남을 이제는 그만할 때도 되었는데...
