Lilac bush

May is one of the most beautiful months of the year. At this time, most flowers, trees and shrubs begin to bloom and become covered with greenery.

The most beautiful decoration of the May garden is lilac. It blooms imperceptibly. There seems to be a lilac bush under the window, twigs with flowers have not yet bloomed. And then you wake up one day and see that delicate flowers have bloomed.

Lilac has a very subtle and pleasant aroma. It spreads all over the garden. It seems to me that May, and the whole spring in general, smell exactly like lilac.

These flowers are a light lilac color. Each twig is strewn with dozens of small flowers. Each flower has four petals. But there are flowers with five petals and even more.

When the lilac blooms in our schoolyard, all the guys and I also run to look for a flower with five petals. They say that if you find such a flower, you need to make a wish, and it will definitely come true.

A branch of blooming lilac will decorate any home. Mom cuts off a few twigs in the garden every spring, puts them in the most beautiful vase, and the pleasant smell of spring flowers spreads through the house.
