A walk in the forest

The long-awaited summer has finally arrived. It immediately gave us hot days, scorching sun and a warm, incredibly pleasant breeze. It was impossible to find a person who would not rejoice at such wonderful weather: everyone, going outside, felt how energy overwhelmed him, and a cheerful smile instantly stretched on his face. And the guys and I, who had long dreamed of a long and exciting hike, decided that the time had come to make our wish come true.

We decided to go to the nearest forest to admire its beauty, examine every plant and insect, and enjoy the views of calm and peaceful nature. After all, it seems that there is nothing more beautiful than exploring the forest with your friends, laughing fervently, telling fascinating stories and talking about everything in the world.


On the eve of the hike, of course, no one could find a place for themselves: everyone was constantly checking their backpacks, filled to the brim with everything they needed, tirelessly thinking about what would happen tomorrow, and looking forward to the next day with great impatience.

It seemed like the sun had just risen, and the birds had just started their morning cooing, and we were already ready to hit the road. And none of us had a flash of fatigue in our eyes from such an early rise, because everyone was already anticipating the joy of the upcoming hike.

Fortunately, the forest was very close to our city, and we got to it pretty quickly. Then, enjoying the view of a wide variety of trees and bushes, we entered it. We walked for a long time, but time flew by completely unnoticed, because the guys in our company were mischievous and sociable. The conversations and laughter didn't stop for a minute. Everyone's cheekbones ached from the smiles that wouldn't leave our faces.

It seemed that now we knew the forest inside and out: every tree, every bush, every blade of grass was studied by us. We looked in all directions and couldn't enjoy the beauty around us. I wanted to stay here and never leave this beautiful place.

But, alas, evening turned into day, and it was time to return home. We were incredibly tired and exhausted: our legs hurt from walking for a long time, and our shoulders hurt from heavy backpacks. But we were enthusiastic about our trip, vivid impressions overwhelmed us.

We have all seen that hiking is a wonderful pastime.
