KuCoin Partners with Arwen to Bring a Non-Custodial Trading Solution to Experienced KuCoin users

Today, KuCoin is thrilled to announce that Arwen, in beta, is now live on KuCoin. This new partnership with Arwen will bring enhanced security to KuCoin users. Through their service, users will be able to protect coins in on-blockchain escrows, trade instantly across coin pairs using cross-chain atomic swaps, and settle trades directly to their wallet of choice. Arwen is a Boston-based startup providing non-custodial trading products and securing users’ trading operations.

Arwen facilitates secure trading through self-custody. Rather than depositing coins in the exchange, users will rely on the security of the coin's blockchain itself. Security for trading BTC is provided by the Bitcoin blockchain, while security for trading BCH is provided by the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, etc. With Arwen, there is no need to trust a completely new blockchain.

For now, with the beta version of Arwen, users are able to trade BTC, BCH, and LTC. We recommend users try the Testnet version of Arwen first and then convert to the Mainnet to do real trading. This will ensure that users have a smooth experience while trading.
