Giresun kalesi gerçekten sıradışı bir yapı. Giresun'un coğrafi yapısı nedeniyle kale denize ve kıyı şeridine hakim ve ticaret yollarının birleştiği noktaya inşaa edilmiş. Askeri olarak Trabzon Rum İmparatorluğunun batı sınırını uzun süre Türklere karşı savunmuş. Fotoğraf surların en uç noktasından çekildi. Karşıda Karadenizin tek yaşanılabilir adası olan Giresun adası var.

Giresun Castle is extraordinary structure. Cause of Giresun's geographical shape, castle builded on the intersection of trade roads and overlooking the sea. Militarily the castle defended the western border of the Trebizond Roman Empire from Turks for a long time. Photo is taken on the last point of the walls. Further you can see Giresun Island, the only livable island on Blacksea
