"Lake Porkuni in winter time"
Contrasting view from one shore to another. This is Lake Porkuni in Estonia on one cold day in the winter. The lake itself was frozen at the time.
The lake parameters:
Max. length 2 km (1.2 mi)
Surface area 41.4 ha (102 acres)
Max. depth 6 m (20 ft)
Surface elevation 107 m (351 ft)
In the summertime, there are problems with the lake, because the water levels can get very low and the lake itself is in the risk of drying out.
