Ouch! I guess that is everywhere. Once they know you are new, they try to charge higher. I have experienced it several times in new places, even when i try to use a bold face. My cousin experienced it too. They charged him higher, he thought the place must be far, so he didn't argue. The bike man actually took him round the place he was meant to stop four times, to make it look far. He noticed he passed the same house four times. Sheer wickedness. So sorry about that.
It wasn't anything too bad, but we basically just got overcharged. We ended up having to pay more than double what we were expecting.
