Gakken's Animedia Gets Reprints for The Second Time in The Magazine's 37-Year History
The official website for Gakken Plus' monthly anime magazine Animedia announced today that the stock of its latest June 2018 issue has almost run out just in two days after release, so it will get a second print run for the second time in the magazine's 37-year history. The issue featuring Conan Edogawa and Toru Amuro from the 22nd Detective Conan film Zero the Enforcer on its cover was released in Japan on May 10. The additional prints are expected to be shipped by later this month.
Animedia was launched in 1981 and is the second oldest ongoing monthly Japanese anime magazine, following Tokuma Shoten's Animage started in 1978. Its current circulation is 34,567 copies (October-December 2017) according to Japan Magazine Publishers Association (JMPA).
