I have a hard time imagining any of these laws being discussed with a straight face, let alone being passed and going through the process of putting them on the books.

This reminds me of those laws passed in those redneck areas about not fucking animals. I imagine there was quite a bit of stifled laughing/chuckling at the idea of someone being an animal fucker to the point where they had to make a law about it. LOL

I'm sure though, as in that black mirror episode, that would be absolutely horrible to actually see... so it's great that we can simply hear about these stupid ass laws and not have to actually see what the hell they were made for! Fuck that!
