Was probably passed for some dumbass reason like "it captures their souls" or something. LOL :P
Maybe it was because it interrupted some natural activity they perform. Still dumb lol. Are rabbits camera shy?!

Maybe during that period they are doing some specific biological activity and the cameras from before were different from now. I really have no idea.
Hmm... maybe? It could have something to do with the fact that to make a flash back in certain times.. you literally used explosive material. The sound of that type of flash could be potentially disturbing to animals. I could see that. Who knows though. It’s all speculation until someone dives deep enough into google to find the real reason. ;)
