Learn the life of an eagle

Good morning All... Have a nice day.

An eagle is the longest bird of its age. A rajawali can reach the age of up to 70 years. But to reach this age, eagles have a phase of body change when they are 40 years old.
When the eagle has reached the age of 40 years, and to be able to live longer 30 years, the eagle must pass through a very painful phase of body transformation. That is when an eagle must determine the choice between passing through a painful self-transformation or passing the rest of the life that is not painful, but short to death.
At the age of 40, the eagle's beak is very bent and long until it reaches its neck, so that the eagle will be difficult to eat. Even the claws were not sharp. The feathers on the wings are also very thick, so the eagle is very difficult to fly high.

If an eagle decides to pass through this painful body transformation, the eagle must fly to the high mountains, then build a nest on the top of the mountain. Then, the eagle will peck its beak on the rocks in the mountain so that the beak is released.
After a while the new beak will appear. With his new beak, he will pull his nails one by one and wait for the sharper new nails to grow. When the nails grow, he will pull out his feathers, so that all fall out and wait for the new feathers to grow.

If all that has been passed, the eagle can fly back and live its normal life. Such is the painful self-transformation that must be passed by an eagle for about half a year.
We will not study further regarding the survival of the eagle's life. However, we will see the behavior of eagles that we can emulate in life as human beings.

There are at least 5 (five) positive things that we can learn from the behavior of eagles.

• Intimacy with God

As is known, eagles always fly high. This illustrates that eagles always want to be close to God (intimate with God). The behavior of the eagle gives a hint that we as humans must often draw closer to the Creator.
We also should often connect ourselves and maintain a harmonious relationship with God. Various ways we can do to maintain a harmonious relationship with God, such as diligently praying (worshiping), visiting holy places, diligently living the life of spiritual sadhana (meditation, yoga, asceticism), and so on.

• Turn the challenge into a blessing

Eagles fly in the direction of the wind, and the greater the wind will make the eagle fly higher. This shows that eagles really understand how to change challenges into blessings. It is truly remarkable the nature of an eagle.
The behavior of the eagle gives a hint that we must endure challenges. Make challenges as an opportunity to make yourself more advanced. Someone who often faces challenges, will be better prepared to live this life than someone who lives with his comfort zone.

• Spirit

Eagles move at high speed. This shows that the eagle has a high spirit in living its life. The behavior of the eagle gives a hint that we must keep the spirit in life alive to achieve dreams. Spirit is the main capital to keep moving forward to achieve dreams.

• Have a vision for the future

Eagle has a far / sharp view. This shows that we must have a clear vision to live this life. Without a clear vision, someone will not know the direction, do not have guidelines, do not have signs in living this life, so do not know what to do. Such people never reach their destination because they have no purpose.

• Be loyal to a partner

Rajawali bird is very loyal to his life partner. Eagle does not like changing partners. This gives us a clue that as human beings we must be loyal to the spouse (husband / wife) that has become our choice. As a human being there is certainly a shortage, but it is not used as an excuse to turn away from the couple.

The lesson is very valuable, we can learn from the behavior of the eagle. Hopefully we can emulate it so that we become better individuals.

Thank You for reading.

Yes, it would be nice to emulate the eagle and be better people. We seem to be losing our humanity with all the technologies around us.
