Tronxy X5SA right from Tronxy Official store, this is how it shipped :

Hello,

As some of you following this blog may know, i was pretty excited to get my hands on a Tronxy X5SA 3D printer so i could try to print my own 3D models, 3D characters, be it from Steemdya's game or from my comics, my very own creations and maybe steemcar, steem plane and a lot of little things like this...

Well, let's discover how the built went... Actually the build took me around 4.5 hours, but mostly because the building pdf is very misleading at times and you have to go back in steps a few time, disassemble and assemble the frame again, but more importantly...

IMG_0480.JPG

The wheels and bearing are misaligned, but not only in the way the belt should go and dissipate / balance it's force on the 4 corner of the frame, some of the bearings are stuck, they do not roll, i have around 4 bearings that are completely busted on arrival, stuck wheels, stuck carts, that are very very hard to move along the alluminium frame, that will end up the motors loosing a lot of teeths on the strength belt if i dare use it like it is :

IMG_0481.JPG

The stuck bearings / wheels etc is already a bad thing, but i also got a not working, damaged touch screen that renders the 3D printer completely useless, un usable :

If you look closely, you can see a crack along the screen, and it came like this out of the box, i did talk about it in the previous video where i unboxed the 3D printer, as you can see it here (photo from unboxing) :

Also, when i unboxed the parts, the frame was also scratched everywhere from alluminium particles / bits under the plastic protective wraps there are the pictures of this damage here :

I'm disappointed to receive it in such a poor shape, because i saw a lot and a lot of videos on this 3D printer, being able to beat the quality of the CR 10 when it's well qualibrated, but it had been shipped to me in an unworking, damaged state:

Can you believe it came from the official Tronxy Store and TNT shipping from Aliexpress ?

tronxyframe3.JPG

The stucks / busted bearings, the cracked and scratched touchscreen and the scratched frame was already bad enough, right ?

Think again :

Do you see the little green plastic pad they added on the heated bed ?

Let's look closer at what it is, shall we ?

IMG_0473.JPG

As we are getting closer to the green plastic wrap / pad, take a look at the overall state of the heated bed / plate and how scratched it already is from all sides...

IMG_0482.JPG

You guessed it, What's behind the green wrap is a pretty deep crack / scratch, deeper and wider than any other scratch on the plate...

To wrap things up about the heated bed / plate, let's now take a look at how the holes have been drilled in the plate, very fast, and at places that actually damaged the heated bed too :

IMG_0485.JPG

This one is too close to the edge and this next one :

IMG_0484.JPG

Was drilled with too much pressure applied, hence why it cracked this corner of the plate.

LAST but not least, the misaligned, misbuilt, completely out of alignment printing part, the nozzle and the hot end are really out of shape to be starting a proper print anyway (and the hotend come pre built this way, look how disaligned it is from how the frame and other parts are right and stable ) :

I was making a video about this, and i had to stop at so much time because most parts were fucked up and i didn't want ending up cursing too much on a video.

I already asked for a refund, or almost all the printer parts replacement from Tronxy. I'll keep you informed of what they say about this.

I don't know why i never have luck with these kind of things in my life... I might have been a terrible person in another life or something... ._. really sad i wanted to print Red mardjina and Steemdya, and paint them :(

Sort:

I'm really sorry for you to see this happening... it's a shame it has been shipped completely broken and damaged like this.. Tronxy come on...

Thank you for your consideration i really hope they do something about it.

Me too, don't let them get away with that. Thanks for sharing the info very usefull and will probably never order from them.

more cool stuff! but you have to assemble an entire 3d printer?! that's crazy. i hope you get the refund or get a working printer. an actual steemdya model would be real interesting!

That looks like a shoddy product all around. At best they sent you half the parts to build your own. On the bright side, the design looks like it could be easily enclosed for better temperature control.

good tool, maybe need expertise in installing it, @imaginalex, thanks for sharing, always happy friends.

Hello, this is not a installation problem, there is a lot of damage to the parts sent to me before even trying to install.
