Learn from Everybody 向每一个人学习

As a teacher, there is a tendency to teach. Indeed, one of the disciplines for the teacher is to learn from everybody.

It is difficult to teach somebody unless the person is willing to learn. Therefore, it is important for the teacher to model for the students that he or she is a person keeps learning.

When we are willing to learn from our students, we display an attitude of humility. This is helpful to prepare them to learn from their teacher.

If the teacher is willing to learn from his or her students, he or she must not underestimate their students. They are all precious and even though some prefer to be low profile. I do facilitate leadership seminar for those coming from different sectors of society. If we ever underestimate anyone of them, we may miss a precious learning opportunity. I remember coming across a journalist who is quite quiet during the seminar. And in the mist of other CEO level leaders, she is not outstanding. Nevertheless, she is a very well known national level journalist and producer of outstanding original YouTubes.

Therefore, it is imperative for the teachers to keep learning. Anytime they stop learning, they stop teaching effectively.

作为老师，我们会有一种教导的倾向。实际上，老师的一个纪律乃是要向每个人学习。

除非一个人愿意学习，否则他就很难教导其他人。因此，对于一位老师，他要有一个不断学习的态度以作为学生的傍样。

当我们愿意以谦卑的态度向学生学习时，这將有助于学生准备向老师学习。

如果老师愿意向他的学生学习，他就不能低估了学生。每一位学生都很宝贵，即使有些学生显得低调。有时我应邀在领袖研讨会中间担任导师，如果我低估任何一位，我就可能会错过一个宝贵的学习机会。我记得遇到一位低调的研讨会学员，在其他總裁级领袖中，她并不出众。然而，其实她是一位非常着名的国家级记者和杰出原创视频制作人。

所以老师必须不断学习。他们一旦停止学习，就会停止有效教学。
