Left or Right

One of the most interesting things I find on the news media in whatever way it is presented, online, tv, radio, etc. is the constant focus on left-right policies. And now this has moved on to mean liberal and conservative policies also. What are called liberals are wrong because they constantly point at conservatives as kind of dumb, that isn't helpful. But I do think conservatives have it wrong, the only thing that is constant in the universe is change, and grabbing onto something because it used to be is not right, just think of it, what are conservative policies now were once revolutionary ideas.

Like for example I have seen people who left this country (Honduras) 30-40-50 years ago, and they come back and feel all angry about it not being the same it was when they left, again things change, not necessarily for the better but you can't stop change.

I think you have to embrace change and see what it brings, because you are not going to stop it, so the thing people should do is stop fighting it, anyway 60 years from now it is certain most of us won't even be around here.

As for the left right thing, I see most right wingers point to Venezuela as proof that left wing policies don't work, well I can point right here to Honduras to show that right wing policies don't work, and we have about 150 years to prove it, if you look carefully Venezuela still has a long road to go before it reaches the lows that we are accustomed to here. For example, Venezuelans are now having to leave the country because life is so difficult, that started happening to us decades ago, and now about 20% of our population is in other countries.

We are the most screwed up country in Latin America except for Haiti, and Haiti has its very own story, much different from that of the rest of the continent and nothing to do with left or right.

So I think everyone should in fact be thinking about shitty governments and elites who don't give a damn about their countries and whose only objective is to get rich as the real enemies here not some old out of date theories.
