Strong and Beautiful

A gray bird is looking for something to eat. He caught a worm choking on a bamboo tree. He vomited open this part to get and feed the worm. She did not stop the vomiting until it broke. The worm escaped but the two creatures called Strong and Beautiful grew stronger. He is strong and handsome. Beautifully modest, slender and energetic. They were the first women and men of the race.

Mandayan couple

In the early days, Limokon birds lay two eggs. One was placed at the opening of the river. The second was placed in the front yard. When the eggs hatch, the first male and the first male emerge. Time passed but they did not know that everyone lived.
One day the man almost drowned because his long hair was covering his feet. He searched for where the long hair had come from and saw a beautiful woman bathing in the front yard. The man introduced himself and they became friends. They are the ancestor of the Mandayas.
