Review of DUM Biryani House
I genuinely love biryani, so I was really looking forward to Dum Biryani House. The menu seemed very unique and offered dishes from Hyderabad. Hyderabadi cuisine has a lot of Mughal influence and is loved all over India.
Everything on the menu looked super tempting. We came for sunday brunch, so it had breakfast dishes, street food and mains. Choosing anything was difficult so we decided to order different things to get a taste of most things possible.
Our order included lamb shank biryani, prawn fry, mutton fry, andhra baby chicken and shammi unda. Food is just brilliant, flavours authentic and preparation genuine. the lamb was literally melting off the bone.
The decor is brilliant. The entry to the restaurant is similar to that of a speakeasy. the decor is quirky, and has some interesting artwork.
totally recommend this. i won't be coming more often as i am leaving london. but if you're in town, and want to enjoy some indian food after shopping, do check this out.
