Respecting, we get respect. What do you think of the LGBT community?

in #lgbt6 years ago

Hello steemit, there is a topic that I always wanted to write, I just did not know how to approach it, mainly the theme focuses on the struggle that the LGBT community has been having, as all social struggles and movements some people accept more than others , and some others completely reject in this case the movement represented by the colorful flag.

Why write about this?

I am a person who has friends of all kinds, I have gay friends, lesbian friends, etc; not for that I am better or worse person, on the contrary, I believe that we must internalize more than the fight is not because they like the same sex or because they love to disguise themselves in an exaggerated way, here the only and true fight is for freedom to love, the freedom to be happy, and the understanding that we are not all made for the same, a different world, that since its inception have had their struggles, and many of these "different" people, although for me they are not, they have had to hide, they have been humiliated, and even social pressure has been so strong in them that many chose to have a "heterosexual" relationship that was surely unsuccessful and frustrating, gender equality was the first social struggles, and ; Nowadays women have the same capacity to perform "men" jobs and often do them excellently.

For many people the LGBT community is a bunch of crazy people disguised with colors and wanting to get attention, the truth is that I see it as a release for so many years to be silent.

Respect is part of everything

I have always thought that the thoughts of others should be respected, what a person does, what he says, what he imagines; opting is optional, but you should always have a margin of respect located in that I respect your way of seeing things, but if I disagree you should respect my position, what I'm going to is that many times the extravagant way in which community is handled clashes in the social paradigms of many people, even many who belong to this community ask for respect or to maintain a certain image a little less "burlesque" of what they represent, it is not represented a rampant mass, without ideas and with desire of celebration, struggle, the real struggle is the acceptance of a love that is often frustrated, which often can not be given because "it is not right" in the eyes of society.

Personally, I think we should change the stigma or paradigm of the crazy gay who walks on the street wearing strange clothes (maybe I'm wrong) or the lesbian who dresses like a worker (although if he does it is a personal taste) I think that we can be what we are men and women, but with a different taste, to be a man or a woman with a career, with a professional aspect, to leave aside the common denominator for which they reject them so much, of course I enjoy friends who are obviously very crazy but when it comes to being serious are a sober person, a responsible person, what I want to say, that is a very personal opinion is that the gay man or the lesbian woman and her way of acting ( not all) must mature, and I think that is going to be a big step, a giant step for greater acceptance.

Regarding equal marriage

Here I would like to write a couple of laughs, because my God, they are people who love each other, and they are fighting to legalize that love before the world, they want to shout to the universe that they would do anything for each other, while many people run away to marriage they fight, they struggle to have a family member, of course the values must be reinforced in it, so that it does not necessarily become cyclical, but rather it is a social utopia, where each person in a responsible way chooses what he wants and with whom you want to spend the rest of your days. This should stop being a paradigm, of course you should do a study to couples, because often these issues become something for fashion, but the truth is that find the love of your life, a being that complements you in such a way it is not something simple, and to tear off that illusion, that dream, and that desire to fight two people already falls on the inhuman. The world is changing, shame is being put aside, we are understanding ourselves more, understanding that happiness should not be a guide, but should be what motivates you, what moves you, is a cruel and complicated world many times, but the struggle is on, and I really wish that the people who love each other, achieve those dreams desired in any corner of the world.

Why title the article "respecting we get respect"?

Because there is no purer truth, and more tactile than this, if you are heterosexual and you mess with someone for thinking differently, who is the brute? If you are homosexual and you disrespect a person who is clearly not comfortable with your position, who is the brute? If you do not like someone's religion and you treat them like trash, who is the brute? religious fanatic and you want to force someone to belong to your religion and if he does not do it he will burn in hell. Who is the brute? Respect is a reflection of how we will be treated, without abuses and without trying to change people, giving opinions is something that can be done under the margin of an educated conversation, we are in the year 2018, 100 years ago many things ended in barbarism and murders if you thought differently, if you were homosexual, without going very far 60 years ago it was a taboo subject, but today, we are starting the evolution, if we want to be part of it, it is better that we give our best effort and represent the best role. believe ?.
