Liberland is joining Steem
Liberland is a crypto friendly country which will be running on blockchain and so now is inevitably starting it´s new communication channel on Steemit.
Free Republic of Liberland (hereinafter “Liberland”) is a sovereign state located between Croatia and Serbia on the west bank of the Danube river. The nearest towns are Zmajevac (Croatia) and Bački Monoštor (Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Serbia). On some maps, this area is referred to as “Gornja Siga”.
Liberland came into existence due to a border dispute between Croatia and Serbia. This area along the west bank of the Danube river is not claimed by Croatia, Serbia or any other country. It was therefore terra nullius, a no man’s land, until Vít Jedlička seized the opportunity and on 13 April 2015 formed a new state in this territory – Liberland. The boundary was defined so as not to interfere with the territory of Croatia or Serbia. Its total area of approximately 7 km² is now the third smallest sovereign state, after the Vatican and Monaco. There is something which took place in America recently... specifically in Effingham Co., IL which in effect, opens a door to seriously enhance the development of Liberland. I perceive for a few precious reasons, somethings need to be explored and promoted. Ultimately, and for some related motives, could you agree that American libertarians need to develop a "dual citizenship"? How can we facilitate?

it's not that much of a stretch to agree that this one featured county wouldn't be the only one, out of 3,141 to follow suit. And out of that group, a percentage could certainly be persuaded to treat the other 9 Amendments with equal respect as they have for the 2nd... with a strong Will to Nullify when needed. If that is the case, we introduce the Constitution of Liberland to their County Commission and ask them for protection as we develop/transform a town, village, or city Charter to reflect your hallowed Document within their borders.
Thus the prospect location for a Liberland Colony. ...where we can expect Liberland to provide a Mayor... around which we can elect a city council, (or, to avoid politics: draw lotteries for the positions as we select Jurors).

I think we could simultaneously roll out the Deputiz'em in that same settlement also. A fundamental key to the plan is having a duly selected/elected sheriff that is a part of the planned settlement. Martin County Florida is rural enough and Polk County has a denser population but could be done as well.
Well, I envision a "New Liberland" colony first starting out as/in an Incorporated Village (especially in a Home Rule state like FL). or city. What is especially intriguing is what might happen if we find a "Effington South" style county that embraces Liberland's Constitution, and is willing to watch as we "Sanctuary" the other 9 Amendments as well), but set our sights on a coastal town. Now, does our police department have jurisdiction in the water? How far out? The Deputiz'm Plan works just as well with a city or village having their own "metro" court where Jury Nullification may be sanctioned and promoted.... and of course a vol. fire department, as well for augmentation.

I come from Slovenia (a small country bordering Croatia) and I never heard of Liberland but it sound like a great idea. I hope you will share more on the subject and about the things you do in Liberland via steemit so I can learn more about this idea. Is it possible to visit maybe?
