RE: Aim small; miss small (or maybe don't miss at all)

in #liberty5 years ago

I've wondered what that phrase meant since I saw it in The Patriot

Again, couldn't agree more.
Its really quite simple. Believing that people should be able to get a divorce doesn't mean you're trying to deprive society of the concept of marriage. If its a good idea it (and it is) then it can thrive based solely on voluntary participation.
Believing that people should be free to end their relationship with the state isn't trying to deprive people of their beloved state.
If it's a good thing (and it isn't) then it would thrive based solely on voluntary participation.

Sort:

"Aim small, miss small" just means if you aim for the very center of the bullseye-- or the gnat crawling across the bullseye's center-- if you "miss" the gnat, you'll still hit the bullseye (or at least the target).
