We are only three months into 2018 and the perception deception machine is in full swing!!! I feel like the new tactic is to bombarded us with so much information that we just become so overwhelmed that we just tune out.

The new war is the war on our reality!! I feel that there has been a slow but steady run up over the years to sow distrust between the people and the media.
Whether it's mainstream or social people recieve their view of the world from some type of media. This can be a double edge sword if you can determine what is real and what is fake.
Deep Fakes
So a lot of actors (in particular Nicolas Cage) have been faced swapped on video using this software. This will pretty much going to negate any video that comes out with Trump doing lude and dubious acts.
It's going to come to the point where we will not be able to believe anything we see on TV. This ia good example of a technology that humans are not ready for but is here anyway. It will only get better as time passes and it will cause people not to trust anything that they see.

Thanks @lukestokes for bringing this to segment to my attention. John started off with saying the following:

This pretty much sums up the state of the world we line in. People don't want to take the time to figure out the world around them and when they are faced with the truth they just scream "Fake News".
John Oliver's segment only helped to confuse people even more. He is a comic so I don't expect him to be an advocate but he seemed pretty one sided in his assessment.

The war on reality. It has finally come down to this. I think we are close to freedom when war is resorting to such a target. We gotta keep our eyes open (or closed ;) and have knowledge of self and knowledge of truth.

I know!! So we are going to really be screwed. I'm really wondering how we can counter act this.
thanks for the heads up. I feel it is imperative for people to really, really developing inner perception to be able to distinguish what is "real"--i.e. organic and what is being manipulated. to be able to read energy signatures is key to staying sane in these coming times I feel. Please humans do need to focus on real time face to face interaction. We can easily loose our humanity to technology if we are not careful. For some reason neither of the upload options worked for me; they would cut off right at the beginning when you were talking about how you were not on social media as much because of how it can make you loose yourself somewhat--I'm paraphrasing here...
Yes, this is the only chance. We cannot stop development. We need to develop ourselves and stay current.
It was all in the matrix. Neo and morpheus predicted this, skynet in terminator as well. AI becoming the order of the day and taking over, simulating every human activity.
I hope our quest for development and technological advancement does not bring to us chaos
Yea I wonder is that is the collective unconsciousness or the power at be preparing us for the inevitable. Especially with crypto there is the possibility for complete enslavement of humanity...
