Good Feels: Billionaire pledges to pay student loans

Imagine being at your college graduation on a hot, sticky, miserable day. You are listening to some old rich guy that is telling you the same woopty woop every other rich old guy tells you. This guy's got a racial twist being African American and growing up going to rich white school.

You are really only half listening. Then you hear something that stands out. "Grant to pay off your student loans". You start looking around to make sure that you heard what you thought you heard and everyone else is doing the same thing.

Well, that is exactly what happened this morning (May 19th, 2019) at the campus of Morehouse College in Atlanta. Billionair philanthropist Robert F. Smith made that pledge.

My family is going to create a grant to eliminate your student loans!
