Where has our willy wagtail gone to?
Here was our friendly resident willy wagtail gone to? He used to visit everyday and was very comfortable in our home. But we have not seen him for a couple of months now and wonder if he is still alive. When he came visiting willy was fed. We gave him bits of fresh mince meat and he was happy. Willy used to stay for a long time and freely flew inside at anytime standing on benches and cupboard tops. Willy was a happy bird. We became accustomed to his drop in visits.
After a couple of month of no willy dropping in we figure that perhaps he has either gone away with a new mate or he has died. We really hope that a cat has not caught him. He was a dear little bird.

Perhaps he's gone to hatch. Perhaps it's the season wagtails start mating, don't you think? Thanks for sharing your experience, I'm giving you a vote. Hope you can support me, too.

howdy @angiemitchell! hey what about the bird droppings everywhere or was he such a gentleman that he didn't leave any in the house? thats very interesting that ya'll just welcomed him like a friend! most people would pick up a broom and shoo him out!
Hi @janton, yes you are right, willy did leave some dropping around. He was too sweet to shoo out with a broom.
I don't blame you but I think that YOU were too sweet to shoo him out with a broom! lol
