6 RELIGION IN INDONESIA AND THE PLACE OF WISDOM WHICH GOVERNMENT RECOGNIZED.
The Indonesian state officially recognizes 6 religions in Indonesia. for the curious what is the official religion recognized in Indonesia, here is a list of religions in Indonesia and places of worship.
(1). Agama Islam/ religion Islam
Islam is one of the great religions of the world and is the religion with the largest number of adherents in Indonesia. Based on the results of the 2010 census, 87.18% of Indonesia's 237,641,326 people are Muslims.
The place of worship for adherents of Islam is the mosque. Every day they perform five obligatory prayers in the mosque.
(2). Agama Kristen Protestan/ Protestant Christianity
Christianity is also a great religion and has a large number of followers in the world. In Indonesia alone, according to the results of the 2010 census, the number of Christians in Indonesia reached 6.96% of the 237,641,326 population.
The place of worship for Christians of Protestantism is the Church.
(3). Agama Katolik/ religion Catholicism
The number of Catholics in Indonesia based on the results of the 2010 census reached 2.9% of the 237,641,326 population.
The place of worship for Catholics is the Church, the Chapel.
(4). Agama Hindu/ religion Hinduism
The number of Hindus in Indonesia based on the results of the 2010 census reached 1.69% of the 237,641,326 population.
The place of worship for Hindus is Pura.
(5). Agama Buddha/ Buddhism
The number of Hindus in Indonesia based on the results of the 2010 census reached 0.72% of the 237,641,326 population.
The place of worship for Buddhists is the monastery.
(6). Religion Kong Hu Cu
The number of Hindus in Indonesia based on the results of the 2010 census reached 0.05% of the 237,641,326 population.
The place of worship for believers of Confucianism is Litang / Pagoda
