Kushtia: In front of the Football World Cup, fans of the team exhibit a 270-feet-long Argentine flag in Kushtia's Mirpur.

The flag was displayed at the initiative of Amla Uttarpara Jubassangha of Amla Union in Mirpur upazila of Kushtia on Sunday (May 27th).

The first 270 feet long Argentine flag has been created by Bandhan, Ekramulu, Raju, Zakir and Mission's initiative. During the display of the flag, Argentine fans gathered in Amla Bazar.

"We are the Argentine Supporter in the Football World Cup," Bandhan said. We have many expectations about the team. Our team will be champions. We have created this flag to celebrate our love for the team and celebrate World Cup football. We've made a couple of friends in Abu Dhabi. There are plans to make bigger in the future.

Raju told banglanews, "We made this flag to show how much we love Argentina in the World Cup. We hope that Argentina will win the World Cup.

Meanwhile, as per every year, devotees have raised small flags of various groups including houses in different parts of Kushtia, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy and the streets. Apart from the jersey of different groups, fans are giving their support.
