Friends Forever

After dinner while watching tv, we usually having a little chit chat about how our day went, Today after dinner while watching tv, my mom was sharing about her friend since they were elementary, Aunt Louise, they both born and raised in a simple farm and they dreamed to have a great future, (who does not want, right?) but aunt Louise was really eager to achieve her goals,

When they entered the secondary level, they separated school, my mom studied at the school in our town, while Aunt Louise had to stay on her cousins place in a different province for her to continue her studies, her mom and dad could not send her at high school because of financial problem, Aunt Louise got 10 more siblings so it is really hard for them to go to school, so that’s why she decided to live and help at her Aunt’s house, in exchange they will send Aunt Louise at school, From then on they communicate rarely, even when they graduated college, aunt Louise never visit their hometown since she left, and whenever my mom and their other friends try to reach for her and ask her to go home, she would say that she’s busy and don’t have time to go back to their hometown, and they just heard that she got married , even when they are asking them for a reunion, they are just getting info from the sister of Aunt Louise.

And last year they heard that she got separated from her husband and her kids are all settled outside the country with their own family, so some their friends decided to go to her place and visit her and they are surprised because they found out that Aunt Louise is sick, she was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 4, she’s all alone there, they convinced her to come home in our hometown, at first she’s hesitant because she was never been home for a long time but they insist, they said that they will take care of her. Now she’s here already in our town, she realized that there’s no place like home and home is where her family and friends are...
