Who inspires you to be better?

Inspirations come from many people. I live with a principle to learn new things from anyone and everyone. I live with a quote "Every single person whom you meet in your life will have something to teach you". When we are always in the lookout for learning new things, there will definitely be some people who inspire us a lot. I have a few people who inspire me to be better in both my professional life as well as personal life. I don't really see both as two different things. At times I do but most of the learning I gain in personal life, I try to use that in professional life and vice versa. 

While learning things from people, I have seen few people as my inspiration. I have admired them and have even tried to imitate exactly what they are doing to be a better person. Sometimes it is good to follow someone blindly if you know for the fact that they will definitely take you to the path of success. 

Parents

For every child inspiration starts from their parents first. Unlike other countries, in India, we will be able to see a great bonding between parents and children. We have had a successful joint family system for several centuries. Of course, it is gradually reducing but in a joint family system, you will be able to see many people with a different area of interest. If you grow with them, you will gradually get to learn many new things and many skills as well. 

First the inspiration starts from father and mother. They become the first point of inspiration to us because they teach us the most basic things that we need in our life. Sometimes it might be difficult for us to take it but they do it with full dedication and patience. We will definitely be gifted if we have parents who understand us very well and try to be a friend when we need them. They are the first inspiration to us in our life. With all the motivations they do, we can easily travel towards the path of success. 

Teachers

Next inspiration comes from the teachers. There are both good teachers as well as bad teachers. Teachers remain in our heart even after we complete our education. We may not remember the subjects we studied in our school but we will definitely remember the moments we had with our friends and teachers. The values we learn from our teachers in schools and college life is going to help us throughout our life. We will even live a noble life with all the learning and inspiration we get from our teachers. 

Some people are really gifted and they get a chance to be with their teachers throughout their life. Father becomes a teacher for some people and friends and brothers become teachers for few people. Inspiration can come from teachers throughout our life. I'm in contact with a few of my teachers even today. If I'm stuck in something and I need clarity, I just give them a call and speak to them. I truly consider them to be a great inspiration for me. 

Friends

Though friends are someone who is going to travel with us either throughout our journey or a part of our life, they are also of great inspiration to us. We learn things from each other. One friend can be good at something and another friend can be good at something else. They act as a true inspiration to us. They travel along with us and we learn so many things in a hidden way or even at times straightforward. 

Some friends usually travel only a part of the journey with us. When we were at our school, we might have some close friends. After we leave our school or college only a few friends retain in our life. Other friends can vanish just like that. But the learning that we do from them is definitely going to stand throughout our life. The friends who stand with us throughout our life is definitely going to be a great inspiration for us and make our life better. 

Colleagues

Most of the people will have to spend a considerable part of our life working to earn money to satisfy the needs of our life. In the journey of earning, there will be few colleagues with great values and experience. These colleagues can be of great inspiration to us. In our professional life, we might look at them as a great inspiration because of the skill sets they have in their life. It can be skills or experience or even values they possess. But something or the other will definitely inspire us. We have to learn from all those values and lead our life. This will become a true motivation for us through our lives to make our life better. 

An office colleague who is very close to you can also become a good mentor at some point in time. It is always good to interact with people with good experience. We will be able to learn new things easily with their experience. That is the true reason why people usually see elders as their true inspiration. The way some people talk can really be inspiring. The information they talk can be a usual thing but the way they convey it to us can really be inspiring and it will make us work towards the goal. If we have good inspiring mentors in our professional life, we are really gifted. 

The above four have always been a great inspiration for me. I have learned a lot from them and I still continue to learn so many things from them.
