Awesome post! Very clearly stated and focused. Will definitely be following this series.
One of the parts that stood out to me was how the way to bring on the mass adoption with alternative systems was to build them enough to thrive so much that it's a no-brainer for the average-Joe. That's where the ground work comes in.
I see cryptocurrencies and blockchain platforms having a profound effect in helping achieve this on many different levels, particularly as their competitive nature will leave the ones that truly benefit the end-user as the ones that thrive and bring people on board - as well as seeing their own different governance systems play out.. but maybe I'm jumping the gun here ;)

I couldn't agree more. Cryptocurrencies have leveled the playing field on so many levels. Not only proposing an alternative to the current rigged monetary system, but also proving practically that better alternatives DO exist with human innovation. It shows it is possible to outsource involuntary government functions to the voluntary free market.
