Same ol' regular life shenanigans.

Ups and downs, right? So simple. Just regular ol ups and downs. That is life. That is what it is. Just a few ups and downs. Nothing too much to it.

You know what bothers me every single day? It is the commonly believed and acknowledged idea that if we could go back in time for a split-second and change one tiny decision then our lives would have been so much better and there wouldn't be as much regret or chaos.

The reason this mindset bothered me is because we never tend to think that a tiny change at present can make a huge change in our future. Even let us avoid the regrets or chaos we would potentially have to deal with in the future.
But there lies the dilemma. Only once everything is set and done, only when the dust settles, can you really pinpoint and decide that such and such could have been done differently at such and such time for a better outcome.

In the future I could look at this very second and have a clear view at it with a master blueprint of how things could have been differently....but being and living in the moment it turns out to be the biggest hurdle and almost impossible to make that tiny change.

That brings me to the ups and downs...
The regular ol jolly ups and downs. The rise and falls that define life and all that it is. The tops and the bottoms that somehow give a broader meaning and understanding of what life is...just ups and downs. It shapes us, it breaks but makes us, it makes us love life and appreciate all the good life has to offer. But when you are at the bottom, the deep and dark coven, the most hidden and evil corner of your life, it leaves you exhausted. You have come over all the biggest challenges and climbed out of all the deepest downs...and here lies the next level. It always feels like you have evolved from the past "down" and this one is just a tad bit deeper than the last and there is no getting out of it.

You know in your heart once it passes you will just look back at it and laugh, but there is also a part constantly telling you that this is the end...there's no more climbing out...at least of not this "down". You know you might bounce out of it completely like a beach ball being pressed under water...but at the same time it makes you feel like you are in the deep waters with a beach ball and don't know how to swim...

That's another blind spot from Blind's pot.

It falls along the same lines of "the grass is always greener somewhere else." If we could learn, as a society, just to want what we have, instead of trying to have what we want, I think we'd have a lot more happy people.

That is very true. But man is made as such, with a hole of desires that never can be filled.
