The View Perth And Fraser Avenue in Kings Park Today - Tree Tuesday
I was lucky enough to get out of the office, and attend a business lunch at a fancy restaurant in Kings Park today. It isn't a far walk for me to get to, so I left a little early, and enjoyed my walk down Fraser Avenue, with the sun baking down through the trees. Many of the trees in this avenue were planted in the 1920s, and so are almost 100 years old. Some older ones died, and were replanted over the years too, which is why some are smaller than others.
Kings Park is located just outside the Perth CBD, in West Perth, and is a great place to go for a relaxing walk. The view of the Swan River and city is really beautiful, and today was a perfect day to get a panoramic photo of it.
It's quite amazing to see how the city has developed of the past few years too. This was Perth in December 2009.
And this is Perth today, but from a slightly different angle.
I love this city. It's such a great place to live.
It's pretty cool that you have comparison shots :D so glad people take photos of these things, it's good for history and stuff.
Perth is a pretty awesome place to live.
