South Korea learned to print food on a 3D printer
At the Experimental Biology 2018 convention, scientists from South Korea founded a new technology: 3D printing of snacks with a given shape, texture and nourishing content.
We have manufactured a platform that create 3D printing to uses food microstructures, they allow us to set the texture of food and the rate of its exploitation by the body at a personal level," says Ri Jin-Kui, professor and head of research. We think that one day people will have shell with a crushed version of various ingredients that can be mixed with a 3D printer and ready for according to the needs and tastes of the user.
