Also Working hard is straight forward while smart work can sometimes go crooked in a desperate bid to achieve reward/result.

Desperation to beat a deadline could cause that. When smart work negates the sole purpose of making a method easier and more approachable to become a means of exploiting a system, It isn't smart work anymore.
