I usually mow in a big square making it smaller and smaller as I go as well. Sometimes I will do the lines because my wife likes them and it does look really nice when you do it. The biggest decision I have to make these days is whether I feel like taking the time to bag it or I just trust the mulching blade will do a good enough job. I also tend to take a break between the front and back to drink some water now. I'm not a young guy anymore... My neighbors just bought a battery powered mower. I find the concept interesting, but I am not sure it could tackle the long grass I occasionally get. I love my battery powered weed whacker though. I grew up doing the trimming on my neighbors yard and mowing my grandma's as well. I made some good money doing that!
