Weekend Recap
We had a nice weekend, though it certainly went by fast.
On Friday night, I went on a late night adventure in the mountains to look for glowing rocks with my high powered blacklight flashlight. I had never done this before but had been wanting to see if if worked - I will make a separate steem post with this adventure soon!
We have been feeling cooped up lately in general due to the heat and bad napping schedules for the kids. The typical day goes like this: the kids are awake at 6am, Kendra's first nap is from 9-10:30am, lunch is at 11:30, Jacob's only nap is from 12-1:30pm, and Kendra's second nap is from 2-3:15, with dinner at 5:30. As you can see, there is not much "free time" to do things out of the house together as a family due to small windows where both kids are awake and ready to play.
With that background, we gave it a shot on Saturday by heading to Knott's Berry Farm, a local theme park in the morning. We ended up hanging out there from 10am - 1:30pm and both kids napped in the car on the way home. It worked out OK, but there is always some grumpiness when you mess with the kids sleeping schedules! We had a good time riding a few rides and eating some bad-for-us theme park food.
On Sunday, we hung around the house and I watched the kids while my wife ran a few errands and picked up some groceries. One highlight was making a tent/fort in Jacob's room which we played around under for quite a while! I had the PGA Championship golf tournament on in the background most of the day, so I was able to follow it a little bit. It was a pretty exciting even with Tiger Woods in the hunt on Sunday, but I did lose all $12 I wagered playing FanDuel in the tournament.
Overall, it was a great weekend and I am refreshed for the week ahead!

Really such a great weekend with your happy family. Your lovely kids Jacob and Kendra are growing well. At this age having fun, travelling and playing make them brilliant. Always pray for their bright future. Thanks a lot sir @brain.rrr for sharing your family moments with us.

If I see that they did not have much time the children give a lot of work but it is beautiful to spend time with them it is good to go out sometimes and take some fresh air
My weekend was quiet Saturday at home to sleep until late but on Sunday if I woke up early I had things to do and some meals to prepare for steemit also in the afternoon I went out with some friends for a drink in general it was a good weekend
I see that you had a good weekend I love the weekends it is enjoyed by family and friends it is good to go out and always do something different even if from time to time to stay and sleep or get away a little or play at home with the children is also a good plan you have to enjoy the weekends so the week starts with good footing and energy
Your children are beautiful they are very big I see they had a lot of fun
