Oh my goodness, where has the time gone. It really does feel like yesterday when we were going through our vows, saying I do and then partying the night away. It was such a great day and I will never forget it.

We have achieved a lot in our time together, bought a house, changed careers, traveled and we are now living abroad. But our biggest achievement is our beautiful little girl (not so little anymore). Clearly our finest work to date and I’m so proud of her and us.

20 great years but not always smooth. Marriage takes constant effort to keep it healthy and in good shape and it is easy to take your foot off the peddle and let priorities change. We have come this far and we are still a team and we still love each other so we're doing something right.

So let me tell you a little of our day. Jayne sent me a happy anniversary message in the morning and I sent her a clip from one of our favourite retro movies, So I Married an Axe Murderer starring Mike Myers.

I had bought Jayne some flowers and Jayne bought my favourite chocolates.

In the evening we went to

It’s a very cool little steakhouse in old town with good food and live music. We had a great evening and shared it with our daughter.

Here’s to the next 20 years.
