Out for a walk with Jerry my Mexican rescue, very difficult to photograph the bugger he never sits still and I’m pretty certain he doesn’t like his picture taken either since he refuses to look my way when I’m holding my phone or camera 🤦‍♂️ I swear he is a human stuck in a dogs body. Jerry was about to jump into the swamp while I was trying to take a shot of him and in the back of my mind I was thinking “DO IT” the bath is well worth the footage... he hates water and would make a big fuss if he did jump in after those water skeeters.

Today we had a high of 26°C outside and a high of 32°C in the bakery, made for a long hot sweaty day

Back from my weekend away was a first in a few months, tried my best to put down the electronics and make it about family thus I didn’t record a single vlog even though I really wanted to, there will be other trips back to my home town of Port Alberni the weekend I am thinking of is Thunder in the Valley when people from all over North America show up for a once in a year drag right in the centre of town.

My new hat, Bush Man I have named it because it has a native art Sasquatch on the front and on the brim. I think it suits my current scruffy look don’t you? Each hat has a story or a meaning, this one is to remind myself of my upcoming post where I will shave my head and giveaway the SBD of that post + 10 SBD divided evenly between the commenters also to remind myself to take that time away so I don’t look like the bushman again 🤣
