A death is the terrible destiny of the whole world. However, it is something that will inevitably happen. When you die, a gap is left in the hearts of your relatives, but you fill a piece of cement or your ashes are scattered in some significant place.

These two options, more or less polluting, are more common when it comes to dismissing a loved one. But there are other possibilities: that your family keep your ashes in an urn; to turn your remains into a jewel; or, now, that you become another living being.

To avoid the burial of people in increasingly crowded cemeteries and as an alternative to scattering the ashes of a relative somewhere or keep them in a simple urn, they have launched a new system, developed by a Catalan company.

"The Bios Urn is a biodegradable urn, designed to convert the ashes of a person or pet into a tree, thanks to its design and manufacture, the urn provides adequate germination and helps the tree grow with the ashes", describes the Web page.

This object, at a price of 140 euros, allows to use the ashes and several seeds chosen by the client to plant a tree in a forest or garden. What the company proposes is to turn death "into a transformation and return to life through nature".

Bios Incube, the app that allows you to plant the ashes at home
But for those who, instead of wanting to have their relative or pet in a tree in the forest, prefer to have it at home, the company has created Bios Incube. "It is the first system that allows you to plant the Bios Urn near you, and combines the ideas of the growth of the trees with the data of your environment," says the company.

The Bios Incube is "designed to fit any space you are in" and the type of tree it contains. This modern urn collects the data of a mobile application on the environment to irrigate the plant accordingly.

Its price is somewhat higher, 696 euros. But, if you can afford it, it is a very useful way to have a deceased person at home without being inside a simple urn. In addition, the plants generate oxygen, so it would be collaborating with the environment.
