Support the Life!

As you may know - there is a huge charity initiative in Serbia these days. Young Dusan Todorovic is only 4 years old, but already fighting a battle of his life. He is fighting with cancer for two years and due to rapid deterioration of health, he needs to be operated immediately. Unfortunately, his health insurance does not cover the price of health care in the foreign clinic.

This is not a first time that citizens of Serbia unite and in a very short time gather a significant the amount of money in charity. 191.000 euros in less than 24 hours after self-organized hype in social media and on the streets for a very small and very poor country is something to be more than proud. Dusan travels tonight to the operation and with some luck and God's help (he deserves both) he will live and see his kids doing great stuff, making him proud.

My family is very sensitive to life stories like this one. We do not like to talk about that, but we were in the similar position some six years ago when my daughter fought for her life against a brain tumour. She is a happy and annoying teenager now, but we are still touched and sad when we hear about stories like this one. My son does not even talk about that period of our lives, but it seems that he has some deep thoughts. Without telling anyone of us, he organized friends and this is the second day that they keep live and open street workout training on the streets of our town. All money they gather they send immediately to the Dusan account.

I just found out that... and he made me very proud!!
