Impress Yourself!

It's so crazy that we often fail to realize our own shortcomings and weaknesses.

We fail to see our own fallacies in life.

We fail to see the things that cause us pain and ultimately, keep us from our dreams.

I've fallen prey to this many times in the past.

Buying dumb shit to impress people I don't even care about.

I have this problem (and I believe that most people struggle with this) of trying to impress other people.

I want to show a certain image or show that I'm doing well or whatever.

It's something innate to us as humans, but I don't think that it's something we can't overcome.

I believe that with the right levels of integrity and self-discipline, we can overcome this constant desire to one-up others and show off our wealth or status.

Instead, I want to elevate myself.

Elevate my mind.

Elevate my lifestyle.

I want to live what I preach and instead of trying to impress others, simply try to impress myself!
