Her housekeeper and her masseuse found Heath Ledger dead in his Manhattan apartment on January 22, 2008. The coroner's report revealed that the Australian actor had died of an accidental overdose, after abusing the prescribed medications . His last words were "Katie, I'll be fine", addressed to his sister, who was worried about the drugs she took for pneumonia and insomnia.
