Ranchi-based 83-year-old Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee goes by the name 'Five Rupee Doctor'. He runs his medical clinic in the city where he charges just Rs 5 from his patients for their treatment. The government has recognised his selfless service towards the welfare of underprivileged people and he has been bestowed with the Padma Shri Award this year for his contribution.
