I think it is because they would rather own the world. It has nothing to do with the money but rather the power that it affords them. The NWO type elite is my real referral. Also was talking to a friend who still follows the "experts" every day which is funny because he reads a headline and believes it every time! Then 2 weeks later realizes they were wrong and believes the next headline! They need unlimited amounts of money to buy up the politicians and wage wars! These are people who have hidden agendas for world control and are the ultimate enemy of the people!
