What is the first impression you give off
There is a popular saying that: first impression matters a lot. The impression talks not solely about your character but your presentation of yourself.
Imagine going for a job interview in a multimillion dollar corporation and you're wearing a round necked shirt with a jean while others are dressed in a corporate wear, chances that you will get such a job is slim. Do you know why? It is because your first appearance matters a lot.
Similarly, imagine wearing a suit for your first date, talk about overkill. A man is judged based on his presentation and that is the first basis of classification.
Another thing is a man is addressed the way he is dressed.
I was walking down the street one day when I passed by a cobbler's shop. Inscribed on a cardboard were the words "your shoes tell the society the kind of person you are."
I actually pondered on those words for a while and I discovered that the impression we give off actually matters.
Why it matters? Because our representation is our value. Value matters and we do not know who we will meet people that will change our lives forever. Please don't get me wrong, you can have a leisure stroll and be dressed leisurely, the point is always look the occasion.
Let's leave the dress aspect, let us talk about personality. Imagine being invited for a banquet with the queen and you sit and start using your hands to eat without cutlery, that puts you in the zone of a savage.
You have to be the person who makes makes tgeat impression count.
Imagine yelling at a gentleman in the presence of his people, only to realize your mother in law was among them.
What impression have you given off? Or imagine picking your nose on a first date and you get carried away while doing that.
In essence, we are defined by how we define ourselves. Let us define ourselves well so that the society and those around us will have positive things to say about us.

Wow you nailed it..... The issue about some people is that they think that the way they dress do not matter...everyone talks about character and inner beauty . when we don't present our selves well... People who don't know you only grade you with the way you dress. Lets dress responsibly .
You are right people judge with first impression, even if they don't know you before, they believe what you just did is what you always do and that's why we should always make good impressions
No second chance to make a first impression...
If you want to kill it the first time then be ready to kill...
Some occasions call out for you to give it your best shot the first time, don't screw it....
First impressions really matters. It's creates the bedrock of the perspective people have about us. First impressions last longer, and it takes longer time for this impression to be adjusted in people's minds.
Robert Greene in his 48 Laws of Power talked about this. Those who are masters in the act of seductive understand that a positive first impression is all that's needed to take control of someone else's mind
