What are the chances of a person surviving a train crash? Slim I guess, but what about if it were coupled with surviving being blown off a plane at a high altitude? My guess is as good as yours, it is next to impossible.
Well one man survived these and more and still went on to win the lottery, talk about the strange coincidence of that, talk about Frane Selak!

You think that is strange? what are your thoughts on surviving one atomic bomb blast? Well someone survived two!

Frane Selak is still alive till date and He was born in 1929 in Croatia. I am sure his mother must have cast the Harry Potter kind of protective spell on him which made the invisibility cloak look like a learner. Like seriously, life does not get any better than this.

It all started when he was thirty three years old, he was travelling on a train when all of a sudden he had a mishap and the train got derailed and was plunged into the cold river nearby but surprise surprise, he managed to drag himself to shore.

Next on his unfortunate list was just barely a year after the first incident, he had a blast of unexpected fresh air when he was accidentally blown off a plane in mid air, surprisingly enough he fell onto a pile of hay and was unhurt. Hey I have an idea, why can't we have hays instead of parachutes since they seem like a cheaper alternative. I forgot to mention that the plane crashed but the dude survived.

One would think that was the end of his misfortunes but it was only just the beginning. Three years after the second incidence, he decided to travel by bus (because other modes of transport did not seem to suit him) and well just like how final destination movie looks like, his bus went "off road" and entered into a river, killing about four passengers but this time around, the die hard fan man refused to die.

Okay, I don't wish him death but this is just creepy, AGAIN! This man had a one on one with death and cheated death. Four years after the bus accident, it seemed Mr Selak had had enough of trusting commercial commuters and decided to stick to his car. Poor choice as his car ignited without prior warning and he escaped an explosion just in the nick of time.

By now, you will be thinking the dude would have had enough but guess again. Three years later, there was another car explosion and he managed to survive, after all he has nine lives.
Two years later, Selak was again at it, this time he was knocked down by a bus in what should have been seriously injurious but he came out without serious bodily harm. Can someone please tell me the name of his Guardian angel?

A year after being hit by the bus, Probably sure about his nine lives, Selak was again driving when a truck came out of nowhere and forced Selak off the road and he was almost thrown off a cliff when he suddenly went into James Bond mode and jumped out of the car and caught a lucky branch before it went off the cliff.

Did it end here? No it didn't. But this time around, he got lucky in the lottery and won a million dollars. So you see there is always a silver lining to every dark cloud, probably after seven death attempts...lol

Now to the next on the list, we have the bomb survivor.

During the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings which claimed so many lives, someone experienced both bombings and survived! His name is Tsutomu Yamaguchi. Tsutomu was doing his job when the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, although he was technically at a distance which prevented the shock waves from killing him, he sustained injuries.

Feeling the need to escape danger, he arrived Nagasaki exactly three days later and was hit by the second atomic bomb. This time around, he was just also at a safe distance coupled with obstructions in his path, he only escaped with a radiation warning but he lived.
