Gelupo - The Last Word in Great Tasting Ice Cream
London has transformed into something of an ice box in the last couple days. Stark contrast to the absolutely scorching weather enjoyed just a few weeks back. Us Brits are experiencing climate conditions like we've never seen before. Still, things are about to get a damn sight cooler.
Well, that was the plan, without my knowledge. You see, the missus had been to the well known "Gelupo" ice cream parlour several times already in the past. However, and rather sadly, not with me. Though everything changed when this turned out to be the venue of my surprise visit this evening. The establishment is quite small on the inside, but that's of no consequence really. The flavoursome delights hidden within are simply incredible.
They have around ten different types of ice cream to choose from, ranging from coconut to mint tea! We opted from ricotta cherry and hazelnut. Pure heaven together with a plastic spoon, lol. This place smashed it! Easily on par with the likes of Haagen Daaz or Ben and Jerry, "Gelupo" is da bomb and then some. Highly recommended especially for you ice cream connoisseurs out there. Simply delicious... :)
